Child Safety & Abuse Policy (18+ App)

This policy explains how Dekho prevents, detects, and responds to child sexual abuse material (CSAM), child exploitation, grooming, and any content that harms or endangers minors. Dekho is an 18+ only live video streaming app. Minors are not permitted to use the app.

1. Scope and Commitment

  • Dekho is committed to ensuring a safe environment for children on our platform.
  • This policy applies to all users and content involving individuals under 18 (or the legal age in their country).
  • We comply with applicable laws including COPPA (USA), India’s POCSO Act, and the IT Act 2000 (Section 67B). Any content that sexualizes or harms children is illegal and strictly prohibited.

2. Age Verification and Parental Consent

  • You must meet the minimum age requirement (18+) to use Dekho. Where legally allowed, minors may only use the app with verifiable parental consent.
  • We use age-gating tools to block minors from age-inappropriate features such as live broadcasting, dating, or real-money events.
  • Parents and guardians should supervise children’s online activity. We do not knowingly collect more data from minors than permitted by law and only with parental consent when required.

3. Prohibited Child Content

  • Sexual Content: Any depiction of sexual activity involving minors is strictly prohibited.
  • Child Pornography: Zero tolerance for CSAM. Such content will be removed immediately and reported to authorities.
  • Grooming: Attempts to contact minors for sexual or illegal purposes are forbidden and will result in permanent bans.
  • Abuse: Content depicting physical, emotional, or sexual abuse or neglect of minors is not allowed.
  • Exploitation: Content exploiting minors (including trafficking or forced labor) is prohibited.
  • Self-Harm: Content encouraging self-harm or suicide, especially involving minors, is banned. Support resources are encouraged.

4. Monitoring and Response

  • Detection Tools: Automated systems and human review are used to detect CSAM and suspicious behavior.
  • Reporting: Users can report harmful content via the in-app reporting tools or by contacting support.
  • Timely Action: Confirmed child abuse content is removed within 24 hours and reported to appropriate authorities (Cyber Crime Cells, NCPCR, or local law enforcement).
  • Evidence Preservation: Logs and related data are preserved as required by law to support investigations.
  • Data Privacy: Children’s data is protected, secured, and retained only as long as legally required.

5. Enforcement and Compliance

  • Violations result in immediate content removal and termination of the user’s account.
  • We fully cooperate with law enforcement and child protection agencies.
  • Complaints related to child safety are handled by our Grievance Officer in accordance with applicable laws.
